101st ARMISTICE DAY COMMEMORATION

Sunday, 10th November  saw hundreds of Billericay and Great Burstead residents marking the poignant 101st commemoration of the Great War Armistice Day. Even more people than usual attended the ceremony at which Billericay's Member of Parliament John Baron MP, the Reverend Paul Carr and other church leaders officiated. Wreaths were laid by members of dozens of the town's organisations,civic and community,  schools, armed forces and families and the it was a sad, but such a meaningful morning.
