Royal Sun newspaper photographer, Arthur Edwards gave a great talk at the Shenfield Parish Hall last week when he entertained his audience with tales of his life and career, backed by superb photographs which are in his newly published book MAGIC MOMENTS. The evening raised much-needed funds for the J’s Hospice which, it is hoped, will be built in Chelmsford. It is hoped, when constructed, this first stand-alone hospice for young adults aged 18-40 diagnosed with a life-threatening illnesses, will also provide respite care for patients. The charity now has an office in Springfield Road, Chelmsford, which is managed by Mary Fox. For donations and offers of much needed help, check their website
